Delph is located in the rural and historic area of Saddleworth,
equidistant between Manchester and Huddersfield, (13 miles away)
and only 5 miles from Oldham. 
 

Our holiday cottages are on the outskirts of Delph village and within easy walking distance
of its shops and amenities  which include:
 pubs and restaurants X a general store X Post Office X library X amateur theatre X chemist and doctors surgery.

The Huddersfield Narrow Canal which connects Saddleworth to Marsden in Yorkshire passes through,
and Stanedge Tunnel, the longest in the country,
has been re-opened after years of renovation.

The area is ideal for walking, (the Pennine Way passes through the area), horse riding, mountain biking and commuting. 

Delph and the surrounding villages have starred in several movies including Yanks, Parole Officer and Brassed Off!

Derbyshire, Cheshire, Yorkshire and Lancashire form our boundaries, so, many places of interest, including the Lake District are easily visited within a day.
